Public Relations (PR)

PR people tend to get a bad rap, sometimes deservedly so. You don’t want someone that’s full of hot air and marketing jargon. You want someone who can come up with creative ideas to get your business or organisation the publicity it deserves.

That can be anything from a simple press release sent out to media, or devising a full PR campaign and strategy – often integrating this with the services below, such as social media, email marketing and blogging. I can also work seamlessly with existing PR teams to support large scale projects.

Writing is writing isn’t it? I suppose you’d expect me to disagree, wouldn’t you? Great marketing copy, whether for a website, brochure, blog, or advert, is an art. As a former journalist and feature writer for magazines, writing is what I love.

My copywriting experience extends to magazines for local authorities, website re-designs, email marketing and blog articles for major marketing agencies, schools and colleges, and local businesses.
